7. Troubleshooting

When irregularities occur, please check the following items before you

assume that there is a unit failure. For more details, refer to the

Troubleshooting section of the software manual.

If the Power indicator fails to come on

• Make sure the power cable is plugged into the scanner and a wall

socket.

• Make sure the power switch is on.

If neither of these two things is the cause of the problem, please contact

your dealer.

If the scanner lamp flickers, is dim, or fails to come on

The scanning lamp is failing or has failed and needs to be changed.

Please contact your dealer.
